We look to our suppliers to match our efforts in addressing these global challenges, outlined in our recently updated Expectations for Suppliers document. However, stating our expectations is only a start. We are undertaking additional efforts to ensure that our suppliers align with these efforts as part of our wider Responsible Sourcing Program.
BD has chosen EcoVadis, a global provider of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) ratings, to conduct individual sustainability and human rights performance assessments of our supply chain partners. The results of these assessments will advance our responsible supply chain efforts.
We are asking you to register your parent company on the EcoVadis platform and take the assessment. Please note, there is a fee associated with the assessment that varies based on your location and size.
Once you complete the assessment, EcoVadis will rate your response and share a sustainability scorecard from with detailed insights into your strengths along with areas for improvement.
Completing this assessment is an important part of building a sustainable, long-term business relationship with BD.
